Chuy's Ranch Dip! But with a Harvey twist!

So, I came across another recipe, yet again on our beloved Pinterest! My husband is a ranch lover, so when he had finally had THIS ranch, he went crazy! If he was the creator of the food pyramid, ranch would definitely be its own category. Along with cheesecake, but that's another topic for another post!

Anyway, he asked me to make him some homemade ranch and I told him I had pinned this recipe long ago but never made it! Well, I bought all the ingredients I needed yesterday and made it today! I followed the recipe to the exact and when I excitedly tasted what was supposed to taste awesome, tasted bland? So, the inner chef in me started asking, "What's missing?" "What can I do to make it taste better?" "What umph is missing!?" So, I started throwing random spices in there to make it taste somewhat closer to what it's actually supposed to taste like!

Recipe as follows my lovely's!

Ingredients:
1 container 16 oz light sour cream
2 large jalapenos; without the seeds and membranes (unless you like spice, but my husband is a weenie, so I took them out)
About a cup of cilantro
2 garlic cloves minced and some juice from the garlic cloves (it came from the jar of garlic I had, if you have actual garlic cloves, that's fine as well)
Juice of 1 small lime, or half a lime if large
1 pkg (1oz) Ranch Dip Mix
2-4 tbsp. of milk
1 tsp cumin, or to taste
1 tsp garlic juice, or to taste
1-2 tsp of chili powder

Directions:
Combine roughly chopped jalapenos, cilantro, and garlic in the food processor. pulse until finely chopped.

Next add the lime juice, sour cream, and ranch mix. Pulse until combined!

Add milk a tbsp. at a time until you reach desired consistency. (this is the part where I started throwing random spices in)

I added the cumin, garlic juice, salt, and chili powder! That's it! BAM. Ranch sauce!
